Mangrove Boat Tour – Damas Island
Mangroves are a unique ecosystem in the world, being natural barriers and housing a large amount of biodiversity in the world. In this beautiful mystic place we are going to navigate the intricate channels to observe different types of birds, crocodiles, snakes. Including: The Boa, White-faced Monkeys and many more.
The island of Damas was born in times of banana plantations in the central Pacific. Today, it's home to over 200 families, and its channels and ecosystem remain well-preserved. During our approximately 2-hour tour, you'll soak in stunning views of this protected environment, gaining insights into its unique history and current way of life.
I am a Naturalist Guide and beyond my work, I have a commitment to Nature, for that reason I clarify that in this activity We Mustn’t Feed the Monkeys. We can observe them, photograph them, and share their space, however; we do not manipulate the animals, since it is an illegal activity.
Our activity is more environmentally friendly, hand - in - hand with Nature.
