Rainmaker Ecological Reserve
Rainmaker, an ecological reserve situated 40 minutes north of Manuel Antonio, provides a
distinctive experience. During the journey, we pass through African palm plantations, taking a moment to explore the intricacies of palm oil processing. Observe noteworthy instances, including the active participation of water buffaloes in these sustainable practices.
Upon reaching Rainmaker, a brief break allows for bathroom use, sunscreen application, and a concise safety talk. Afterwards, we embark on a guided tour spanning approximately 2 hours, navigating dense forest paths and exciting suspended bridges. The journey culminates at the waterfalls and their natural pools, where a 35-minute break provides a refreshing pause.
Following the break at the falls, we will resume the journey with another 30 minutes of walking along riverbank paths, immersing in the natural surroundings, observing wildlife, and soaking in the forest sounds. The adventure concludes at the restaurant, where a deliciously authentic Costa Rican-style lunch awaits.
